A sending error will result in blocking the sending of your emails. If your emails are not sent, here is how to know if there is a sending error.


To do this, go to the relevant sequence and click on the Emails tab (a). On this page you will be able to see the emails that are scheduled. If some emails have a status (b) with a red exclamation mark, you just have to move your pointer over it to know the sending error.

Here is the list of sending errors that can be found and the next step to follow:

ERROR MESSAGE 1

[400] Error encountered while sending using Gmail API - <HttpError 400 when requesting https://www.googleapis.com/upload/gmail/v1/users/me/messages/send?uploadType=resumable&alt=json returned "Bad Request"> - nylas_error

Reason: Gmail error

Next step:

  • Desynchronize and resynchronize your email address in your account settings.
  • If despite this manipulation the emails are not sent, please contact us through support@datananas.com.

ERROR MESSAGE 2

[402] Invalid character in recipient address

Reason: The contact email is invalid.

Next step:

ERROR MESSAGE 3

[402] Message blocked due to spam content in the message. - 550 : This message was classified as SPAM and may not be delivered - nylas_error

Reason: Deliverability issue

Next step:

  • Send an mail to acartier@datananas.com from your mailbox
  • Send the same email to the same email address from Datananas
  • Make a diagnosis through: https://mxtoolbox.com/ by filling in the domain name of your email address as in the example below and click on the MX Lookup button.

  • Then click on Find Problems.

  • For some results you can click on More Info to get more information. By clicking on More Info, you will be guided through the resolution of the problems you have encountered: being blacklisted, etc...

ERROR MESSAGE 4

[402] Sending to all recipients failed - nylas_error

Reason: External error

[403] Could not authenticate with the SMTP server. - nylas_error

Reason: Invalid mailbox connection

[502] Bad Gateway - nginx_error

Reason: External or provider error

  • The error is temporary and the email will be rescheduled to the next available slot when the situation has been resolved.



ERROR MESSAGE 8

[503] A temporary database error prevented us from serving this request. Your message has NOT been sent. Please try again in a few minutes. - database_error

Reason: External error

Next step:

  • The error is temporary and the email will be rescheduled to the next available slot when the situation has been resolved.



ERROR MESSAGE 9

[503] Error - nylas_error


Reason: External error

Next step:

  • Wait to see if the email is sent after several attempts.
  • Contact the support through the following email address support@datananas.com if after several attempts the email is not returned.



ERROR MESSAGE 10

[503] Error encountered while sending using Gmail API - nylas_error

Reason: Gmail error

Next step:

  • Desynchronize and resynchronize your email address in your account settings.
  • The error is temporary and the mail will be rescheduled.



ERROR MESSAGE 11

[503] Service Unavailable - haproxy_error

Reason: External or provider error

  • The error is temporary and the email will be rescheduled

ERROR MESSAGE 12

SendingError / invalid_sync_state

Reason: Invalid mailbox connection

Next step:

  • Desynchronize and resynchronize your email address in your account settings.
  • If, despite doing this, the emails are not sent, please contact us through support@datananas.com.
