You can edit any active sequence on your account. That is to say a sequence in which at least one of your contacts still has steps scheduled (email, tasks etc.).
How to identify an active sequence
Go to your Sequences tab (1) via the left sidebar
If you see a green dot on the left of the sequence name, it means that it is an active one:
Here are the elements you will be able to edit on an active sequence:
An email of your sequence for a specific contact
An email of your sequence for all contacts
Sequence name
Sequence parameters
How to edit an email for all contacts:
Go to your Sequences tab (1) via the left sidebar
Select the active sequence you want to edit (2)
You will be redirected to My sequence tab (3)
On the left, select the email you want to modify (4)
Click on the 3 small dots (5), then click on Update (6)
Edit the content of your email (7), then click on Save the sequence (8)
A window appears. Click on Confirm
On your active sequences, please note that you cannot change the order of your steps, the number of days between your steps or to add and delete steps.
How to edit an email only for a specific contact
Go to the Emails tab of your sequence (1)
By default, you will find the list of contacts who are due to receive your next emails. This is the Scheduled view (2).
Select your contact (3)
Click on the little pencil (4) on the far right to change the content of the next email he will receive
After making the changes, click on Save
Specific case: If you edit a step that was previously modified for a contact in one of the two following ways:

Edited when scheduling your sequence (see article : Schedule a sequence)
The following message will appear:
In this case you have 2 options:
Toggle on: If you want to keep the steps you edited previously, you must enable the toggle Keep manually edited steps and click on Confirm.
Toggle off: If you don't want to keep the steps you edited previously and want to apply the changes you just made, just leave the toggle Keep manually edited steps off and click on Confirm.
How to edit my sequence name
From any tab in your sequence, click on the pencil (1) to the right of the name of your sequence at the very top
Rename your sequence using the text frame (2), then click on Confirm (3)
How to edit my sequence parameters
Go to the Parameters tab of your sequence (1)
Define you new parameters (2) (cf. article how to set up the parameters of my sequence)

Please note that on an active sequence you will not be able to link your sequence to a sending schedule which does not authorise your sequence follow-up hours. For example, if the second email of tour sequence is configured to be sent from 10-11am but you try to associate a sending schedule that only authorises afternoons during the week, you will get the following error message after saving your sequence:
