When connecting to your account, you have a role. You can get the Manager or User role and depending on that you will have more or less options
You can see which role you have when going to the Settings (1) in the Users tab (2) then in the Activated tab (3) then by looking at the right side of your account address (4):
2. What do both roles allow you to do :
User: He can only act on what he owns or what he has created. That is to say, he can only act on contacts he owns and he can only use sequences he owns.
Some features of the account are not accessible (Manage the blacklist, creation of variables, ...).
Manager: He can act on all the elements of the account (contacts, sequences, ...). He has access to all the features of the account.
3. The main features where your role matters:
When you delete a contact (As "Manager", you can delete any contact and as "User", only the contacts you own).
Enable or disable a user (Only a "Manager" can enable or disable a user)
Custom variables (only the "Manager" can create custom variables)
Manage the blacklist (Only the "Manager" can manage the blacklist)
Create and manage lists (As a "Manager", you can rename and delete all lists and as a "User" only those you own)
Schedule a sequence (if you are a "User", make sure you are the owner of the contacts and the sequence).
Datananas Connect (If you are a "User", you cannot create or create & engage contacts in lists or sequences that you do not own).
Export all company's contacts (Only a "Manager" can export all company's contacts)
4. How to get a different role:
To change your role, you have to make a request in the chat or via the support (firstname.lastname@example.org). The Datananas team will take care of making the changes.
If you are a "User", we need the authorization from the "Manager" of your company to give you the "Manager" role.
In addition to the "Manager" role, the Datananas team can provide you the Shared Inbox role. This role allows you to have access to the replies of all users in your company directly in your datananas inbox. You have to make the request in the chat or via support (email@example.com) and the Datananas team will grant you this role.
